Starting A New School

Starting primary or secondary school is a huge transition for everyone in their family and remember change is hard. Our top tip would be to avoid questioning when your child about their day! After a busy day in a new environment, it's often too much for children to remember. Start with smaller questions- perhaps about lunchtime or something that was fun. If your child doesn't find that helpful, you can always start the conversation by saying a little bit about what your day was like. Wishing everyone starting school this week the best.
