Getting an Appointment

Once you have got in touch with us, we will get back to you as soon as we can. We will organise an initial assessment between you and one of our counsellors where they will take your details and get an idea of what brings you to counselling.

Following the initial consultation we assess the approach that is likely to work best for you and you will be placed on the waiting list for either face-to-face or phone/online counselling.

If you choose to go ahead, we then work hard to match you to the right therapist for ongoing counselling and to keep any wait to a minimum. There can be a delay before regular counselling can be offered; this depends on your availability and that of an appropriate counsellor.

Prior to the initial consultation we will email you our Information for Clients plus a copy of the Counselling Agreement and our Privacy Policy.

Counselling may be short or long term, depending on what you and your counsellor decide. Sometimes following the initial consultation we might recommend that you approach an alternative specialist service that could better serve your needs.
