Our Therapists

All Sevenoaks Counselling therapists have enhanced DBS clearance and are registered on a Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register; most are also accredited or senior accredited members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Our counsellors are all trained to at least diploma level and are members of the BACP and/or the ACC.

Our Child and Family Therapist has a Master’s Degree in Family Therapy.  She works to a resilience model with children, parents, couples and families and is a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapists (UKCP).

Ethical Frameworks

We are an organisational member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC).

We abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions (July 2018) and the ACC vision and values.

Student Counsellors

We are committed to the training of future counsellors and offer placements to student counsellors who have been assessed by their training provider as being ready to work with clients. Our student counsellors are supervised in-house by an experienced supervisor. You may be asked at your initial consultation whether or not you are happy to be counselled by one of our counsellors in training.
