Who are the counsellors?

Our counsellors are fully qualified and experienced in counselling as well as being committed Christians. They are members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC), and adhere to the codes of ethics and practice set out by these bodies. They offer confidential counselling to all, irrespective of religious or sexual orientation, accepting clients as they are and offering non-judgmental, professional attention, care and support. The service, begun in 1983, is non-profit making. It is ministered by a board of directors, to whom the counsellors are accountable. It has the support of patrons from local churches and the Health Service.
